David Poulos - CEO, Chief Consultant
Mr. Poulos has been creating successful marketing programs for clients in the Washington, DC metro area for over 25 years. Non-profits, telecoms, dot-coms, newsletters, magazines, government and public sector agencies, and private enterprise have all taken advantage of his marketing expertise and business savvy. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University, and graduate work at St. Joseph's University on Electronic Data Interchange Protocols, Mr. Poulos worked as Director of Sales and Marketing with a variety of U.S. Government agencies through Pan International, in Alexandria, VA. After acting as marketing director at National Information Corp., launching successful newsletters in their Financial and Health divisions, he then served the non-profit community as Membership and Marketing Director for the National Grain and Feed Association, and L&E Meridian. He subsequently founded Granite Partners in conjunction with Strategic Partners Group, and most recently served as Marketing Director for Graphic Arts Show Company, producers of one of the top ten successful tradeshows in the U.S. He’s published over 20 articles on marketing and business related topics, has authored three books, including The Marketing Doctor’s Survival Notes - A Collection of Tips, Techniques for Survival from the Trenches of Corporate and Non-profit Marketing. He’s been quoted as an expert in articles that appeared on Fox Small Business and MSN Main St. Business, SmartCEO Magazine, and other business intelligence sources, and has contributed to several business web sites, including a weekly blog http://themarketingdr.blogspot.com/ .
